Research Project Analyst

The Arkansas Science & Technology Authority, a Little Rock-based state agency, is seeking a qualified individual to be the Research Project Analyst for Arkansas Manufacturing Solutions (AMS).  AMS is affiliated with the National Institute of Standards & Technology (NIST) and the Manufacturing Extension Partnership (MEP).

Responsibilities:  Track, manage, maintain and analyze AMS project and customer information.  Duties include: managing the AMS’ project and customer database; communicating with field staff, field office personnel and customers; perform data analysis and composing reports.

Requirements:  Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, business administration or a related field, plus 2 years experience in planning, research or a related field, additional work experience in data analysis or administration assistance preferred.  Strong analytical, communication and interpersonal skills are required.  Strong personal computer skill, with a working knowledge of Microsoft Access, is preferred.

Salary:  Grade C117 (starting $32,249) on the Arkansas state system.
