Mini-grant Program

The Authority's Mini-Grant Program provides a $500 award to Arkansas teachers in grades 5, 6, 7, and 8 to purchase consumable science materials. Kits are permitted if they are grade standard based and meet the State Frameworks requirements. Textbook, paper goods, and instrument purchased are not allowed.

STUART Grant Program

The Authority's STUART-Grant Program provides a $5,500 award to Arkansas teachers in grades 5, 6, 7, and 8 to purchase a classroom participation system, a projector and a laptop computer.

STEM Program

The purpose of this Authority program is to enrich STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) education throughout the state of Arkansas . It provides for fellowships to be awarded to school teachers in need of individualized training, supplies and curriculum enhancement assistance. Proposal submission deadlines will be the first Monday in the months of August, October, December, February and April.

IT Career Pathways

The Information Technology Career Pathway was created as a guide for students in Arkansas to plan their career pathways from high school into Information Technology (IT) fields. The Arkansas Science and Technology Authority prepared this guide for the Winthrop Rockefeller Foundation.
