EAST Grant
Purpose
This grant is open to teachers within established East Initiative Programs. EAST Initiative facilitators' who team with STEM ( S cience, T echnology, E ngineering or M athematics) teachers may submit proposals of projects that will include community partners which will enhance the local community needs through authentic experiences in the EAST Initiative Programs and through STEM Education.
Program Description
Funded by Winthrop Rockefeller Foundation the STEM Empowerment Grant will be administered by the Arkansas Science & Technology Authority. Small projects grants, for the purpose of expanding technology integration, are available to teachers in districts with established East Initiative Programs. Partnerships that engage in additional grant monies are encouraged but not required. Up to 15 grants for $1,500 each will be awarded.
Eligible Users
Teachers within established East Initiative Programs may apply for this grant.

Applicants must complete the EAST Initiative Grant application form available on the website of Arkansas Science & Technology Authority. This form is write-protected and may be downloaded for electronic completion.
